Being a teacher means the world to me. It means I have summers off, vacations on holidays, and I have weekends off. Not necessarily as I have been informed by a lot of teachers. That isn't my motivation but I certainly will enjoy having some weekends off and some parts of summer off. Most importantly, being a teacher means that I have a career that is viewed in public as prestige and that it also comes with a lot of accountability. I take it as having the same accountability for ourselves as a priest or pastor would when he isn't in church. I must hold and be able to control my emotions and still be able to maintain my credibility outside the classroom. Once I lose my status as a teacher then the students and parents will never be able to trust my words anymore. My oldest sister (picture to the right---->) is a teacher and it seems like she has a blast teaching.

Being a teacher means that I have to take charge of my students and guide them to the right direction. Helping them overcome any obstacles they may face along the road. In order for me to help them I must prepare them so that if I am not available to help, they can still succeed in anything they do.
